Why „Elephant-Lodge“?

Some people will probably wonder that. Especially since no elephants live free in Costa Rica… like a zoo? No, there won’t be any live elephants here… so what’s the real reason for the name?

It’s pretty simple. Your hosts are Tina and Arno. And besides her partner Arno, Tina loves nothing more in the world than elephants. When you visit the lodge, you will experience it… everywhere you will meet the peaceful animals in the form of pictures and sculptures…

And there is nothing more obvious than to give the accommodation the appropriate name, just “Elephant Lodge”.
